Double Yogurt and Strawberry Cookie Parfait
A perfectly crunchy and sweet snack!
Parfait’s are always displayed in an array of layers filled with colors and impossibly too good to eat ingredients that you may not always have handy. We decided to take it down a notch and simplify what is meant to be just that, simple!
The best part is if you have a couple of mason jars handy, you can make a few at a time and store them in the fridge for up to 3days. All it takes is a few minutes of your day, and you’ll have a ready to eat delicious snack that doubles as a breakfast or light lunch.
Ingredients:
Yogurt of your choice
Our Yogurt and Strawberry cream cookies
Fresh berries
The process:
Crumble one to two strawberry cream cookies at the bottom of your cup
Add two spoons of yogurt
Crumble one to two strawberry cream cookies
Add two spoons of yogurt
Top with berries
That’s it! Super simple and incredibly delicious. Let’s talk options; sometimes, these parfaits may contain unnecessary sugar. Our Strawberry cream cookies only have 3 grams of sugar, while your yogurt option may be packed with sugar. Our recommendation is to use plain Greek yogurt or dairy-free yogurt. Greek will increase your protein intake while allowing you to sweeten yourself using honey or agave.
Keep in mind you can also mix and match the fruits you use. You can also add a layer of chia seeds and flavorings like vanilla, hazelnut, or lemon. Get creative, and most importantly, have fun with it!
